Dharasu helps retail businesses run the counter and the back office from one place. Staff bill customers at the POS and take cash, UPI or card payments, while owners manage products, prices, stock, purchases, suppliers, customers and expenses, and follow sales, inventory and profit reports. Bills made while the connection drops are saved on the device and sent when Dharasu is reachable again.

    Set up your shop

    Add business and GST details, products with categories, units and prices, your branches and your staff.

    Bill at the counter

    Scan or pick items, take cash, UPI, card or credit, and print a 58mm receipt, online or offline.

  4. Step 4

    Close the day and review

    Close the cash register, then check sales, profit, stock value and outstanding balances in the reports.

Dharasu questions

What is Dharasu?
Dharasu is billing and point-of-sale (POS) software for retail shops in India, made and run by EdgeZen Labs. It covers counter billing, products and GST, stock, purchases, customers, cash and reports in one web app.
Is Dharasu GST billing software?
Yes. You enter your GST details once, add HSN codes to products and set prices inclusive of GST, and bills are made with those settings.
Can I keep billing when the internet is down?
Yes. Bills made while the connection drops are saved on the device and sent to Dharasu when it is reachable again. Owners can review them in an offline billing report.
Which payment methods can I accept?
Cash, UPI and card. You can also sell on credit to a customer and track what they owe in the outstanding report.
Does Dharasu work with barcodes and weighed items?
Yes. The billing screen has a barcode scan option, and products can be sold in weight units such as kilograms.
Can I print receipts?
Yes. Receipts are laid out for 58mm thermal printers and show your business name, with your logo, address and phone number if you choose.
Can I control what my staff can do?
Yes. Every user is an owner, manager or cashier. Owners can set a discount limit that needs an approval PIN, and an activity log records what happened.
Does Dharasu support more than one branch?
Yes. You can add branches and billing counters and transfer stock from one branch to another.
How much does Dharasu cost?
